Nostrum Biodiscovery at Enamine’s 35th Anniversary Conference

Manel Gil Sorribes, AI Engineer, and Ferran Planas, Senior Project Manager, represented Nostrum Biodiscovery at Enamine’s 35th Anniversary Conference, celebrating three and a half decades of one of the world’s leading providers of chemical building blocks and screening compounds.

In his talk, Manel showed how we approach virtual screening as chemical libraries keep growing: combining AI-driven molecular design with physics-based modelling to navigate ultra-large chemical spaces and identify hits with strong structural plausibility, good developability and a clear path to experimental follow-up.

Enamine’s vast make-on-demand chemical space and synthesis capabilities made it the ideal setting to discuss how AI, physics and experiments come together to find better hits, faster. Thank you to the organizers and to all the speakers for a great few days of science and conversation.
